      We are recruiting for a General Manager to lead the running of one of the most exciting restaurant and bar venues in the Huddersfield and surrounding area.

      In the role of General Manager, you will be the face of the business and a warm and welcoming character. The General Manager will make our guests feel welcome, comfortable and looked after, giving them an excellent experience that will make them want to return.

      You will be driven and thoroughly enjoy being hands on and operational, leading your team from the front and setting high standards within the business.

      The role:

      • Lead the management of the business, setting the high standards required and ensuring they are adhered to.

      • Enable training and ongoing development of the team.

      • Ensure guests receive the best experience at all times.

      • Reporting the financial aspects of the business accurately.

      • Tight control of stock ordering and stock controls.

      • Cost controls for products, wages and general expenses.

      The candidate:

      • Management experience is essential in a high-quality hospitality operation.

      • A warm and welcoming approach is essential with a genuine passion for guest service and high standards.

      • The ability to manage and lead your team in service and multi-task with a hands-on approach wherever needed is essential.

      • Strong organisation skills and high attention to detail is essential.

      • Be agile and flexible in your approach to all elements of the role and complete additional duties as necessary, working collaboratively and positively with the directors.

      • An individual who can share a common passion and dedication with the directors to make for a successful and lucrative business.
